The dry water massage is performed on a special AQUAI water bed. Warm water under pressure flows inside it, which, thanks to the installed nozzles, rhythmically hits the bottom of the mattress on which the patient is lying. As a result, the water movement resembles a classic manual massage. You can feel a gentle kneading, patting, pressing, the body is subjected to its beneficial effects. Dry water massage with the help of the AQUAI bed has the advantages of hydrotherapy without the need to immerse yourself in water. Thanks to this, blood circulation and the functioning of the lymphatic system improve, and thus, better metabolism and faster regenerative processes occur.
We perform 4 types of this treatment depending on the duration:
Before the treatment, the area to be massaged is selected:
Dry water massage reduces the risk of stagnation of blood in the veins, prevents swelling, and has an analgesic effect, which is why it is especially recommended for people struggling with back pain or paraspinal muscles. The procedure usually takes several minutes. During this time, the patient lies calmly and should not feel any discomfort, let alone pain. What's more, thanks to the combination of massage and warm water, the body warms up, and tense muscles quickly relax. After just a few minutes, the person undergoing rehabilitation feels the relaxation of the whole body, because the treatment soothes the nerves, calms down, reduces stress levels, and thus improves well-being.
